Gabriel And Plume

Welcome to Plume. My name is Gabriel.

I’m a thirty-year-old wanderer, born in Sweden to Dominican and Aruban parents, shaped by a life spent moving through Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, the US, and Aruba. I used to live on stage, working as an actor, but these days I find more joy in creating without needing an audience. What I learned from those years—storytelling, timing, connection—now flows into other things, like marketing and projects that feel real.

I spent years chasing a career as an actor, but over time, I realized I wanted the merit of my work to stand on its own, beyond how I delivered it. Acting is a craft, sure, but I started to feel like a product—something to be consumed rather than someone creating something tangible. I wanted work that could exist outside of my performative nature, something solid, something lasting. That shift changed everything for me.

These days, I find myself drawn to boxing, theatre, cooking, gaming, photography, and music. They’re not just hobbies—they’re ways of staying connected, grounded, and expressive in a world that’s constantly moving.
